This is a concept they have yet to do in Astoria, a Laundrymat/Cafe/Sandwich spot! The soup and sandwich I had were superb. What a nice way to spend time waiting for your clothes to dry!

Actually, it's a laundrymat, and right next door is a cafe/food spot. But they are joint operations. It's really neat.

I've heard of laundrymat/clubs existing I think in Germany (predictable), but the cafe idea is much more practical- something air conditioned maybe?
The Leaf place looks like a tearoom, but the raw stuff is only exciting to a certain distance....then I'd probably feel like a rabbit before the visit was over.
