Google Maps Is Da Bomb

http://maps.google.com/

When you get a chance, go to google maps and put in your address. On the upper right hand of the page, click on "Satellite" and you get Satellite imaging of your house. It's pretty darn sweet.

Isn't it cool?

Anxiety

I got home last night from a jog in Astoria Park and the cats were outside. I left them there and went about my activities. I was on the phone when I heard a loud noise from outside. All of a sudden, Anthony jolted toward the door. I realized at that point that the cats were fighting. Those were cat-in-battle screams. I hung up and went outside fearing the worst. I saw the black and white cat (neighborhood cat), run towards the back. Anthony came towards me, and Max and Isabel were by the steps. I asked who was fighting and were any of them hurt. Anthony said Max and Isabel were fighting for real. I said what about the black and white cat? Anthony said he wasn't fighting. Anthony said Isabel had Max cornered, and she was the aggressor. Then we inspected Max and saw that he was wet by his back legs. It must have been the black and white cat that sprayed Max, and Isabel somehow got in between and started fighting with Max since he had that smell on him. We took them both inside and gave them a bath. Max was good, Isabel was the devil.

The next morning, we noticed Max wasn't sleeping in our bed. So we went outside and he was sleeping in his cat bed. Anthony went and pet him, and when he stroked his thigh, Max whimpered. Then he got up and limped to the bedroom. I am so worried. He wasn't limping the night before...I hope he didn't break or sprain anything. Anthony said he probably pulled a muscle or something.

If he doesn't improve by tomorrow I'm going to take him to the vet. I just feel so bad for him. He was hiding under the bed before I left for work.

The anxiety I get for these animals is just unreal.

"Self-Control"

Rice Crispy Treats

At Costco, I bought a huge sized box of Rice Crispy Treats because I liked them. I took 4 or 5 of them to work to eat as a snack and I found myself eating all of them in one day. I really can't resist them! Help!

I will never buy them at Costco again! I'm going to end up as big as a house!

Almost done!

Backdoor - Whole House

We got a hammock stand, but we're going to return it because it was too darn big! We are 99% done...just waiting for our flowers to bloom and the ivy to sprout and hang down from our hanging baskets. Just the finishing touches. I'm so happy-I can't wait to have BBQ's.

"Face Lift"

I just thought I had to share these pictures. They did the siding of our house today and I think it looks awesome. It looks like a brand new house. It used to look so dingy and disgusting. But now it looks clean and nice. So exciting!

Busy Bee

I have a couple of things on my agenda, and one of them is writing about my whole laser experience. Also, I have to post updated pictures of my beautiful backyard and the house (we are giving it a facelift).

So stay tuned!

Ga-ta-ta-ta

Welcome back, Gata! Otherwise known as the Tea Queen of Astoria, aka Catherine. But some people call her "Cata."

Hope you had a nice time. While you gone, we sat and waited for your safe return home. Ha ha.

You didn't miss a thing.

"Another One Bites The Dust"

mouse

My kitties caught another mouse yesterday. This was the 2nd one in a few weeks. I knew they had a mouse because when I came home, they didn't come to the door to greet me. Instead, they were engrossed, eyes fixated on Anthony's shoe which contained the little grey culprit. Why in the world am I getting mice? We never had mice before!

Anyway, Anthony and I sat and watched (well I watched on top of a bench while Anthony tried to take video clips with the digital camera) Max play, flip and toss the little mouse to death. Literally. It was barely hobbling when we came, and we watched it slowly die. Pleasant right? I felt like I was in a colosseum. No, not really. My stomach was turning in the end when my baby Isabel nibbled on the feet. Ick!
