For our wedding anniversary, we decided to take a trip to Barcelona, Spain. I get a phonecall from Anthony asking me to check my e-mail because we're going to Barcelona...tomorrow. I have never taken a last-minute overseas trip before so you can imagine the excitement and panic as I run around getting things together. I left feeders for the cats since it was only a few days. I had a fantastic time...it was filled with memorable moments, especially seeing a random naked guy on the streets of Barcelona (happened twice in 3 days, lol). Don't ask, they're some sort of nudist/naturalist. Anyway, here is a photobook of my trip...I ordered it through MyPublisher.com. Nice pictures! Looks like you had a lot of fun. Was that your 1st time in Spain? I've heard wonderful things about Spain from friends who have gone. Do they really pronounce it Barthelona?
I'm having a total travel bug right now; summer in NY is not my favorite...but we're not going away till September.
Yes it was my first time, it was lovely. Yes, they do speak with that lisp...what was most hilarious to me was hearing Chinese and Indians who had shops speak spanish. There was this 99 cent type store there, and we were trying to ask the Chinese guy for something in English, and he only spoke Spanish - it blew my mind. :)
