Why Is It When...

...you're suppossed to do something that requires total focus and concentration, that you all of a sudden get distracted by sudden urges to clear up clutter, clean the bathroom...etc. ALL the things you dreaded and procrastinated about for days? It's like you procrastinate and do something else you procrastinated?!?

Yeah! I hate cleaning but when I have something else that takes priority I start mopping the floor or dusting.

I know!!! I think our society is geared towards creating ADD. So much is expected of us and so many images bombard us daily. It's possible for me to focus, but not for as long as I'd like to. Like working on a talk or studying for the meetings, sadly, I can usually focus for maybe 15-20 minutes at a time, then I get up, clean or organize something for 5-10 minutes, then go back to the task at hand. Yakaka!!!
